Dr. Deir's, ND Premedical Training
Prior to her attendence at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University. While attending the college, she received her certification as an Emergency Medical Technician and worked as a volunteer for the University’s ambulance corps. She also worked as a Nurse’s Aide in the Emergency room of a local hospital – which further prepared her for future medical studies. While working in the field of emergency medicine, she realized that she wanted to study a system of medicine providing patients with holistic, preventative care. She also received a Spanish minor while studying abroad at The University of Salamanca.
